Goh Lin Yuan
Lin graduated from the Victorian College of The Arts, a faculty of the University of Melbourne. Emerging from the film school bubble, she is seeking to grow and mature into a filmmaker with agency and vision. Her passion for Asian Cinema originated from the disconnect of her own cultural identity, and the yearning to rediscover has greatly influenced her drive and perspective in film. With her experience, she hopes to assist and contribute to the growing voices of Singapore's film industry. During her time in Australia, she was featured in an interview on rising Asian-Australian filmmakers for VICE iD. Her graduate film, FLOWER SHADOW SERENADE won the scholarship for Best Script internally within her faculty and is in competition for Best Student International Short at the 26th edition of the Palm Springs International ShortFest.
