Cheryl enjoys both the process and fruits of filmmaking. She was introduced to the world of filmmaking through an 8-week intensive course at the New York Film Academy in New York City. Her passion for storytelling was carefully nurtured during her time as a History undergraduate at the National University of Singapore, and her filmmaking craft was honed through her involvement with nuSTUDIOS Film Productions. Cheryl’s first narrative short film EGGS made it to the Top 10 Finalists in the 3rd Mental Health Film Festival Singapore and clinched the Special Mention Award and Audience Choice Award. EGGS was also selected as a Jury Selection for the 2023 Damah International Film Festival in Tokyo, Japan.
